At the end of May and the top of June, we Jews for Jesus held our first ever Leadership Summit in Budapest, Hungary. Nearly one hundred of us gathered in the Hungarian capital. We represented a cross-section of older and younger leaders from the thirteen countries where we Jews for Jesus now serve. What a thrill it was to worship our Lord together, to delve into His word, and to encourage each other with stories of how God is working around the world to bring our people to Himself! Those of us who are older and who have served longer couldn’t help but be struck by how faithfully God has sustained the work through committed friends like you over the course of our ministry to our people.
Scripture tells us that “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). How true. In the mornings and evenings, we worshipped together and received teaching from God’s Word. In the afternoons, the Lord refreshed and expanded our vision as we heard wonderful updates of the great variety of initiatives that are taking place around the globe – from the coffee salon called the Upside Down Café in Los Angeles, to art projects about Yeshua in Moscow, to service projects that are helping the elderly and ultra-Orthodox communities in Israel, to social media and video projects designed to reach the 20,000 Israelis now living in Berlin. So many of these innovations are an outgrowth of the rich evangelistic experimentation that took place just a year ago during our month-long Behold Your God Jerusalem campaign. All of us came away from our week together enriched by the Word, deepened in our passion for the lost, and strengthened in our commitment to labor together as we pursue God’s plans for the salvation of our Jewish people.

In the weeks ahead, we’ll launch a series of outreaches extending over the summer months in Berlin, Budapest, Moscow, Paris, Tel Aviv, and in many more locations. Please pray that the joy we experienced from coming together and the gratitude that we feel over the privilege of serving Him will carry us forward as we proclaim the Good News of Yeshua.
Thank you and God bless you for standing with us for the salvation of our people.
