Berlin endlich!

Dear brothers and sisters in our Messiah Yeshua,

Shalom! I have some very exciting news to share with you about Berlin. I hope you’ll be blessed by what I tell you, and I hope you’ll be moved to pray for us even more than you already do.

On 31 August, we’re moving our missionary and administrative work to Berlin.
From that point on, Berlin will be our base of operations for the work we do throughout Germany.

Some of you already know that this move has been the hope and plan for Juden für Jesus, Deutschland, from the very beginning. Years ago, the founder of Jews for Jesus, Moishe Rosen, asked me why we were starting in the Ruhrgebiet. I told him, “So we can experiment, grow strong, gather faithful supporters and prayer partners, and then move into Berlin.”

Now, finally, we feel that the moment has come to move everyone to Berlin.

This is why we’ve held summer witnessing campaigns in Berlin almost every year since 2005. Each outreach brought us a step closer to our goal. Then, in October 2016, Aaron and Becky Lewin pioneered the opening of our Berlin office. God has blessed their work among the 20,000 Israelis now living in the German capital. Now, finally, we feel that the moment has come to move everyone to Berlin.

Leonid and Inna Dolganowski and Dina Markova will continue to focus on reaching both German and Russian-speaking Jewish people. Two of our most seasoned missionaries from Kiev, Ukraine, Natasha and Leonid Krouter, will join them to strengthen that arm of the work. Soon, a young woman named Carolina Flores, will start working alongside the Lewins as they reach out to the Israelis in Berlin.

Naturally, the team will continue to share the Gospel with those Jewish people in the Ruhrgebiet, and throughout all of Germany, who want to hear more from us. And naturally, we’ll continue to minister in churches throughout Germany so that our brothers and sisters in the Lord like you may be inspired by hearing what God is doing to reach our people with the Good News.

Obviously, we need your prayers. So, please pray for even more staff members for us to be able to meet the increased opportunities that the Lord is providing. Please pray for increased support so that our workers may meet those opportunities.

“Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you…” Joshua 3:11

To be honest, a move like this can be daunting. Before crossing the Jordan into the Promised Land, Joshua told the people, “Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you…” (Joshua 3:11). We certainly know that the Lord is always with us and that the Lord is going before us. Pray for us as we follow!

Your brother in Yeshua

PS – Any gift that you can give at this time to help us with the move will be a great blessing.
